. Description our home: We offer a just renovated high standing apartment in a beautiful Mansion. It is a duplex of 170 square meters in a typically French mansion dated from 1890. Our house is very close from Paris (East side) and is an excellent location for visiting Paris and its neighbourhood. It's ideal for a family. You will enjoy the terrace (40
square meters) and the garden (300 square meters). The house is very bright, quiet in green area. It's a 2 floors apartment with a spacious and bright living room with high ceiling, a kitchen where all the family can eat. Terrace is accessible from the kitchen and the living room. We have 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 2 bedrooms with a single bed). Wooden floor everywhere except in the Kitchen and the bathrooms.

. Our neighbourhood: Situated in a picturesque area on the eastside part of Paris. 2 Km from Paris. Very friendly neihbours. Calm and safe neighbourhood. Beautiful environment in the middle outstanding private Mansions with gardens. The location is unique and ideal. It is at a 5 min walk from the station "Chateau de Vincennes" on line 1. It is a 15 minutes ride on the subway the Louvre Museum, 25 minutes to the Champs Elysées, 30 minutes to the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame. It is as well very close (10 min walk) to RER Vincennes (RER A) direct to EuroDisney (25 minutes). 2 min walk to "Bois de Vincennes" where you can enjoy jogging, cycling, playing tennis, horse riding. It is as well nearby the picturesque "Bords de Marne" and the Vincennes Castle. Walking distance to supermarkets, pharmacy, grocery store, bakery, Café and restaurants. You will discover
the 3 open air markets for fruits and vegetables at a few minutes walk.

. Something about ourselves: We (Astrid and Damien) are a Family with 3 Kids (2 daughters 7 and 4 and one son 1 year old). We are expecting a baby for end of February 2007. Astrid is working for a Wine and Spirits company and Damien in a biotech company. Between 1996 and 2002 we worked in Tokyo (2 years), in Singapore (4 years) and several months in Australia (QLD - Byron Bay). We enjoyed very much our overseas stays and are still in touch with all our overseas friends. We would like to go next summer to San
Francisco because Astrid's brother is working there. We would love to visit him, show the US to our kids and discover this area. We practice weekly outdoors activities. It will be our first exchange and we are very excited about it: find new friends, discover a new area and way of life.... We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in
order to get to know our fellow exchangers via e mail first to know how best we can facilitates their stay in Paris.
