We have a very small flat, but it is very comfortable and ideally located!

It is just across the street from the Tower of London and about 1 min walk from Tower Hill Tube station on the Circle line. Its also walking distance (under 15 minutes) from St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Shad Thames, St Katherine's Dock, the City. Within 30 min walk or under 10 min on tube you are at the Millenium Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Vinnopolis (great restaurant and wine museum next to the Globe), the Tate Modern Museum, Sir Francis Drake's ship the Golden Hind, HMS Belfast a WWII destroyer, Parliament and Big Ben. Since we are in central London and right next to the Tube, transportation is very easy and quick to all points of interest in London: Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, Trafalgar Square, Whitehall, Churchill's War Rooms, etc.

The flat itself is on 2 floors. The bottom is the living/eating space and kitchen. The upstairs is the bedroom, a study space, and bathroom. You'll see from the photos that it is very small but comfortable and was recently refurbished. You will be welcome to use our desktop with internet access. Its got a microwave, cooker with hob, washer/dryer, power shower, TV/VCR. I love the roof with an amazing view of the Tower, the Thames, and Tower Bridge. There is a table and chairs on the rooftop terrace which is ideal for morning coffee or a nightcap drink. THe view is especially good at night when the castle is lit up. We also have a grill / BBQ up there which you are welcome to use. We have planning permission to add a deck and roof garden, so depending on when you come...

Next to our building is Trinity Square garden (in photo). And of course within 3-4 block area there are numerous small pubs and nice restaurants. A short walk to St Katherine's Dock where there is a yacht marina, nice shops and restaurants/pubs and a great place to explore.

We are also short distance by tube from several major universities and libraries: London School of Economics, Kings College, Imperial College, the British Library, the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), several Univ of London libraries, the library at Westminster Abbey, etc.
Also, we are 40 min by tube (door to door) to the Public Records Office (the British National Archives) which is just outside London in Surrey.
