We are experienced exchangers and gave
swapped houses in San Diego (2001) and Auckland (2002), both times with a reciprocal
100% satisfaction.
Here is some information about our place, details would

A) OUR FAMILY
Our family
consists of: Louise & Daniel, the parents; the children: Ariane(born in 1984)
and Andreas (born in 1986). We are dual citizens of Switzerland and the US of
America.
Daniel (born 1953 in Basle, Switzerland) graduated in history &
geography at the University of Pavia (Italy); he started out as a language teacher
and then switched to tourism. He was a tourism director for various destination
organizations in Ticino. and in 1998 created and opened a Tourism Institute, specialized
in tourism research, consulting and project management, where he holds the position
of managing director. He also teaches marketing and tourism studies at the Ticino
State Tourism College.
Louise (born 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) graduated
from Wesleyan University in Massachussets and the Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento,
California. She worked in several schools as a Waldorf teacher and currently teaches
English as a second language at the Ticino State Tourism College.
Ariane is
studying political science at the Geneva University in Geneva. She hopes zo graduate
there from the Institute for International Relations. Andreas just finisked his
2nd year of high school in Locarno.
Spike, our four years old black Lab, is
our devoted companion.
B) OUR HOUSE
Our house is a new detached family
house (built in 1996), with 4 bedrooms (2 with air conditioning), 2 bathrooms
(each with bath and shower), master bedroom with cable TV (English spoken channels
are: CNN, CNBC, BBC world, BBC prime), large living room (cable & satellite
TV, phone), modern kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, freezer - no microwave), laundry
room (washer yes / tumbler no), garage, private parking, terrace, balcony, garden.
2 bicycles ready. Adjacent to vineyards, woods, mountain view. 5 minutes to bus
& train stations. Only 10 minutes to Lake Maggiore.
Next towns: Locarno
& Ascona. Ticino is a very well-known tourist area which attracts visitors
from all over the world.
