A house built by an architect for herself and her husband. We enjoy to live in the country; here we have good food, expecially wine and cheese; we have a lovely garden and two dogs, that we bring to a kennel when we are abroad. And, when we want to see an exibition, or to hear an opera, in one hor or little more we can go to Venice, or Treviso, or Udine. There are many place to visit in on trips: Palladio's Villas; Padova, or Verona, or Bologna, or Ferrara; Cortina d'Ampezzo in the Dolomiti Mountains; Grado Lagoon; Lignano Sabbiadoro, the famous beach.

The village is called Lestans, and the little town five minutes from Lestans is Spilimbergo, and ancient town with a castle.

During summer in Spilimbergo there is a good musical festival called "FOLKEST": you can look at the program and go and hear it.

In Spilimbergo there is a good, clean, swimming pool: good for a relaxing morning or afternoon.

Do you like to ride? Go to Vivaro, to Gelindo farm. You could explore by horse an interesting part af this country called "Magredi", which is the large bed of two rivers.

In Lestans there is a Photography international school, and there are photograph exibitions an workshops in the summer.

Aquileia is a little Rome, you can see interesting ruins, visit Basilica and Museum, and then go to Grado beach.

Palmanova is a star-shape town, planned 400 years ago to defend Venice from eastern enemies. You can reach it easily through "autostrada"

Near Codroipo there is nice ancient villa "Villa Manin", with a gorgeus garden. There are also exibitions inside.
